Happy Monday everyone. Easter is over and so is the first weekend of Coachella . Yes, that festival that takes place every year (except 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic) in the California desert and that brings together people from all over the world. A festival that has gained great relevance due to its impact both musically and aesthetically. For many years, Coachella was considered an indie -style festival with a great boho style influence for its attendees; however, what happened this year? Well, we officially welcomed the massification of the Y2K style.
And what style is that? Basically, it's a reversal of the fashion that came out in the 2000s. Yes, that style that many of us hated when we were kids, but that has come back much less gaudy and that, I must confess that in a certain way, I like.
What are some things that we are no longer seeing (thank God)? Well, I'll give you some iconic looks from artists who attended years ago, such as Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
So what interesting things did the attendees present to us this year? Well, first we must understand that Y2K fashion is characterized by the extreme combination of very bright colors, loose clothing, deconstruction of clothes, asymmetrical clothing, chains and above all, showing the exuberance of the bodies.
And finally, what did our Peruvian influencers offer us? Flavia Laos, Mafer Neyra, Luana Barron and Carolina Braedt attended Coachella and/or Revolve Festival .
Now, we have to wait for the second week to see what new surprises Coachella will bring?
