Recommendations for Use
We love sharing every moment of your day with you, however there are certain times when it is advisable to remove your jewelry to prolong its shine and durability.
- If you are the Peruvian version of Monica Geller, we recommend that you take off your rings and bracelets, or even better, use gloves when cleaning. Not only our jewelry but also your hands will thank you. Detergents and cleaning products in general are not suitable for contact with silver or gold.
- Do you love summer? The beach and the sea, or maybe you prefer to be by the pool? Whatever the case, don't forget to take off your jewelry before you dive into water. Whether it's seawater or chlorinated, it will damage your jewelry.
- As my friend Carito would say, ❝ skin as soft as dolphin skin ❞ . If you like your skin to be soft, fragrant and moisturized – who doesn't? – we recommend removing your jewelry when applying creams and perfumes. ♪ Soft as the summer breeze ♪
- Do you have costume jewelry? Maybe you didn't know us yet, and we don't blame you, but it's recommended to store your silver and/or gold jewelry separately to prevent it from turning black. Extra points if you keep each piece of jewelry in its individual Laurella bag inside your jewelry box.
Important
- The pH (acidity index) of the skin varies from person to person, and this can cause the silver to darken quickly through direct contact or sweat. For this reason, some of your pieces may darken and a friend's may not. Nothing that a simple cleaning can't fix, remember that the jewelry is made of solid gold or silver.
- Silver can become yellow or dull if stored for a long time or if it is not cleaned regularly, due to the humidity of the environment. Store jewelry in a dry, dark, closed place if you are not going to wear it often.
Warranty
We care that you have an excellent piece of jewellery for life, each one has been made with great dedication and love; and when it passes into your hands we encourage you to maintain that love for your jewellery by giving it the proper care and following the recommendations for use.
For silver jewelry:
- For all our silver jewelry, we offer a 3-month warranty which only covers manufacturing defects in the product, for inspection or repair. It does not include loss of pieces or parts of the jewelry, such as locks, stones, extenders, etc. After 3 months, we can provide you with a repair service at a minimal additional cost.
- For the purchase of silver jewelry, 1 (one) annual cleaning of the original Laurella silver jewelry is included. Any additional cleaning of your product will have a cost. It does not include the collection or shipping of the product, if required, which will be assumed by the user.
For gold jewelry:
- For all our 18k gold jewelry, we offer a 12-month warranty which only covers manufacturing defects, for inspection or repair. It does not include loss of pieces or parts of the jewelry, such as locks, stones, extension cords. After 12 months, we can provide you with a repair service at a minimal additional cost.
- The purchase of 18k gold jewelry includes 1 (one) annual maintenance of the original Laurella gold jewelry, cleaning, polishing and shining. Any additional maintenance of your product will have a cost. It does not include the collection or shipping of the product, if required, which will be assumed by the user.
The warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by natural wear and tear from continuous use, or damage caused by carelessness or misuse of the piece, strong impacts or exposure to chemicals. In no case does a partial or total refund apply.
